Foundry Partners Small Cap Value Fund

We believe consistent and potentially identifiable mispricing exists between stocks within industries and by utilizing a disciplined investment process we can capitalize on this observation.

We take a three pronged approach:

• Multiple Driven:  we search the universe for contrarian out of favor companies
• Price & Earnings:  momentum and earnings revisions help with timing and avoiding value traps
• Financials:  ensure the company is temporarily undervalued and not in a secular decline

The investment objective of the Fund is long-term capital appreciation. The Fund invests primarily in a diversified portfolio of equity securities of companies that are similar in market capitalization to those listed on the Russell 2000 Value Index. The Russell 2000 Index is a widely recognized unmanaged index that measure the performance of the small-cap segment of the U.S. equity universe. Foundry Partners, the Fund’s adviser, seeks to find overlooked companies with low price-to-earnings (“P/E”) ratios, solid financial strength and strong management that are selling below their intrinsic value.
